You need to write three separate journal/diary entries from the perspective of a Cherokee Indian. The entries must be one page single spaced lines, 12pt font or a front and back side of a loose-leaf piece of paper.
o Entry One â Explain who you are and what life is like before you leave; detail how you are feeling regarding the rumors of Indian removal
o Entry Two â Share details during removal (i.e. struggles during the trip, being held in stockades, experiences of yourself and others throughout the Trail of Tears, etc.)
o Entry Three â Details your impressions when you arrive in the western territory. Be as detailed as possible in your description. Include the emotions you experience throughout, the encounters you have, the sights you see, etc. How is this new life and land different than your life before the Trail of Tears occurred.
Each entry will need to include: a minimum of 10 facts that are related to the time period of each entry (make sure to highlight your facts), historically accurate, and mechanically/grammatically correct.

This project will count as a MAJOR GRADE and will be due on Oct 17th. You will need to create a scenario in which a person's or states' rights were violated by going against at least 3 of the first ten amendments to the US Constitution. Once you have written your scenario out write down how to remedy or fix those violations.
Then you will draw a comic strip with six picture frame boxes and using a minimum of 5 colors depicting the scenario and remedy you wrote about in your paragraph.
You may have to do a couple of re-writes before you have a perfect story to depict in your comic strip. So, give yourself enough time to create it!
